Apple releases iOS 11.0.2 for its mobile devices
Apple has officially launched a new version of the mobile operating system for iPhone and iPad, iOS 11.0.2. This update comes to fix the bugs found in the recent iOS 11.0.1, which was released a few days after the arrival of the final version of iOS 11.
What’s new in iOS 11.0.2
This version, iOS 11.0.2, includes bug fixes and enhancements for iPhone or iPad. This update:
- Resolves an issue where calls were heard during calls on a small number of iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus devices.
- Fix an issue that could cause some photos to be hidden.
- Fixes an issue that prevented email attachments from being encrypted with S / MIME from being opened.
In addition to this, it seems that this update is also able to recover more space in the iPhone memory. Space recovered depends on the device and the storage capacity that is free at the time of the update, reaching, in some cases, up to 500 MB.
You can install iOS 11.0.2 directly from the same device ( iPhone, iPad, iPod touch) through Settings > General > Software update. You can also install this version by connecting the device to the computer and opening iTunes, then you will have to select the device and then click Check for updates.
watchOS 4.0.1 is also available for the Apple Watch
In addition to iOS 11.0.2, Apple has also released the latest version of the operating system for its watches, the Apple Watch, we talk about watchOS 4.0.1. This update is classified as minor and should only solve some problems and improve the performance of the device.
Among the bugs that have been fixed in this update, we can find the solution to a problem that was related to the data connection, which affected the cellular version of the Apple Watch Series 3.
This update can be done directly from the iPhone Watch application. watchOS 4.0.1 is a fairly quick version to install since it does not weigh much.
Have you already managed to install iOS 11.0.2 and watchOS 4.0.1?
